Over 100 area libraries in central Illinois participate in the Alliance Digital Media Library, a contracted service with OverDrive, Inc. The app is Libby. New titles are added regularly. The service includes titles purchased by the group of libraries and thousands of titles in the public domain. To check out items, you will need a valid Colchester District Library card, a computer or device, an Internet connection, and the Libby app available through the Apple Store or Google Play. At the end of the lending period, titles will automatically expire and are returned to the collection. There is a checkout limit. The ADML contains both ebooks and audiobooks.
